Omaha show at the side door lounge

Last night we played at the side door lounge in Omaha NE. When we arrived at the venue, we thought the place looked like a total dive bar. The inside, however, was beautiful! It was all decked out like a speakeasy. The vibe was great. Oh and the green room had a private bathroom with tapestries on the walls. So cool.

We met a ton a great people there. Roszel, a grunge metal musician from the area was even nice enough to let us crash at her place. She even played us a few of her tunes when we got to her place later in the evening.

The acts that performed were mainly acoustic sets. Unfortunately, the last scheduled act to perform was so incredibly drunk that the owners had to kick him off the stage. I thought that was mildly funny :)

Akhil, Nate, and Zach did an impromptu jam session with one of the local artists to close out the night. It was super cool.

This morning we got breakfast at the 11-worth cafe. Soooooo good! Thanks Omaha!

Tonight we are playing in Minneapolis, and this will be my first of many nights opening the show with my original songs.
